    this was from last season (2007) I think. yes it's illegal because it gave Ferrari a straight line advantage at high speeds as it reduced drag while it 'bent' away. I think this was a design flaw rather than a way for Ferrari to try and 'cheat' but they changed it.

    I don't see how it is illegal to have a dynamic front wing. Even the Benz SLR have a dynamic rear spoiler for breaking. And guess where AMG got the ideal?? F1 racing of course...

      FIA law (fia controls f1 btw) states that no moving aerodynamic parts are allowed on car

      this wing changed shape in order to remove drag but still give down force under breaking and low cornering speed, it is illegal

      In fact, i believe this is from the f2006 and was found to be illegal, and ferrari had to change stiffen it for the next race, they may even have been fined.. not sure though.
