I found a way to add chapters to your own iPod movies. Don't waste $15+ buying movies from iTunes.

  Thanks, if you have a Mac, you can download Handbrake which is free ripping software. It can rip movies for your iPod and persevere chapter marks automatically. Handbrake is also available for PC, but I haven't tested it.

quicktime and chapters
Hey, just wondering, i watched this video and i got it to work one time on my ipod. .. however, (i think since i've done the upgrade ot the new itunes) i've been unable to have chapters in my movie.
I'll be able to see the chapters on the quicktime files, but after converting it to the ipod/iphone -- there is no chapters option. . . have you found this?

- Nope.
  I have my own movies I made and I have the newest iTunes as well, no problems. You might have missed a step somehwere in the video. Watch it again and make sure you don't miss any steps.
