I've already seen live of refilling an ink cartridge. It's quite interesting though. Refilling inks can save more money than buying new one. It has the same quality as the branded ones.
By ink cartridge 1249389624 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI've been refilling HP cartridges for years. Currently I have a HP Photosmart C3180 that I used to put re-filled cartridges in. Several months ago I put in a refilled cartridge and it wouldn't work. I can't remember the exact error message but it was something like: not compatible. I tried another one...same message. It seemed to know I wasn't using a brand new cartridge. I changed the date on my computer to a year or so in the past, and voila! It worked!!!! Seems something got updated via HP and my printer didn't like re-filled cartridges anymore (or maybe it didn't like previously used ones to be more exact). I tried re-loading the drivers for the printer and I still had the same problem. It must be date-driven somehow, since putting in an old, bogus date allowed the re-filled cartridges to work. I really hate having the wrong date on my computer, so if anyone knows of a way around this....let us know. I was thinking...maybe if I refilled the cartridge while it was still in the printer, ie, never took it out, maybe I'd be okay, but I'm not sure if I can do that. The best thing I can think to do now is just add ink to a new cartridge before putting it in (unless the program will be bothered by an unusual level of ink). At least that way it could last about twice as long since the ink in a new cartridge seems to be about half (or less) of the capacity. I suppose HP will think of a way to get around that loop hole, if they haven't already. Another option is to use my printer with a computer that never goes on-line, which would be a hassle. Anyway, I know it used to work fine with re-fills. Now it doesn't, unless I change the date on my computer. (And I don't get HP updates, so I'm not sure how or why it changed.)

what kind of ink did you use, I tried oil less stamp ink and it was blocked.
that was few weeks ago
Make sure U seal that tape well to the printhead and wipe it long enough with toilet paper. Especially on colour heads. Hope U'll get blocked nozzles and will deside to buy new cartridge!
