  • Paint with infrared pen using Wiimote

Why emulate a mouse, when you can paint using the Wiimote?

  • Improvement on a good idea.

Rather than using tape, why don't you just solder the connection? It would be much more secure, and have less chance of shorting out your equipment. Second, IR is really easy to implement using inexpensive LEDs readily available at your local electronics store. I do like the idea!

  • Complete Bullshit!!!!!!

This is such absolute bullshit its not even funny. First off the optical mouse he is using it was never specified where to make any contact with any circuit of any kind, bared metal my ass. Second the Wiimote does not have the same pin out as a USB cable it has a double sided 3-pin connector and not a single sided 4-pin connector which USB has. Third candles do not emit enough IR to make a damn bit of difference and would make a S**t sensor bar.

  • Now then.

Given that it works, it doesn't work WELL. It just works so-so. The problem with candles is that they flicker. Not that they don't give off enough IR. And the other problem is that you only have one IR source on each side of the field. This makes it essentially impossible for the remote to evaluate lateral motion.

  • Second.

Someone else said that candles "do not emit enough" IR for the Wiimote to use them? What universe are you from? Are you retarded? Honestly? Moving on.

Okay, let's see here. Two people said PS/2 is not serial. Guess what? It is. In fact, every mouse you have ever owned or even SEEN has been a serial mouse. It's nobody's fault but yours that you don't know what "serial" actually means. It does NOT mean "DE9 plug at the end".

  • Haha

This guy doesn't even know what a "serial mouse" really is. You have a f**king PS/2 mouse! Your sh!t won't work.

  • What a sh!thead!

First off thats a freakin PS/2 mouse. Theres is no way in hell this can work. Another thing the Wii remote uses Bluetooth to connect to the wii. Using a simple usb bluetooth adapter and program called GlovePIE found here wiili.org/GlovePIE you can connect the wii remote to the computer without having to do any of this fake crap and it will work a lot better than this. Ahh I just want to punch this guy in the face for being such a fake.
