to convert to christianity. Christianity is about love. Love your neighbour the way you love yourself, treat other people the way you would love other people to treat you. This is what chrisitianity teaches us. Not hatred. If one makes fun of our God or prophets we will not bay for his blood because final judgement of mankind rests in the hands of the Almighty Father our Lord (GOD). You will never hear of Christian terrorists, you will never hear of christian sucide bombers. These evil acts are associated with other religions which, I hope, you know them and I don't need to mention them.

At one point in time if you choose to convert to another religion, it shall not be a crime to christianity and we shall not wish you dead as is the case with other religions who regards the converts to other religions as traitors and are supposed to be killed. This is my free advice to you. Take it or leave it. May the good Lord through Jesus Christ guide you. Amen

I just don't adhere to any so called religion. Christianity did not teach me to love my neighbour.. my parents did. My parents also taught me it would be wrong to hate, or steal, or kill.. My true FATHER is the one who's seed conceived me then taught me moral values. Christians may not be terrorists, but a hell of alot of them (so called Christians) kill their newborns because they fear satan has taken over their bodies! these "christians" also believe that they are god and in His name they could abuse their wives and children. I believe that when someone is sooooo into god and jesus, they see satan in everything that might be good.. like babies.

Personally, I don't hear about this kinda stuff happening daily on the news... terrorists and violent followers of Islam come together in huge groups and cause massive problems constantly.

I respect Islam as a religion as I have lived in Arab countries for most of my life despite being British. I think that the idea of anything that promotes peace and love among humans and animals alike is exactly what the world needs. The bible does not tell Christians to do these things, therefore these people you speak of are not Christian anyway. Notice I have not shouted, been offensive, or sworn throughout this post as I feel very strongly and deeply about this issue.

3. My father help build a Baptist church in our hometown and I attended Sunday school for many years.
4. I was married 37 years ago in a catholic church (my husband is catholic) but I chose keep my own religion.. I brought up my 3 children catholic..

Have you ever heard of Marvin Gaye? (I only bring him up as an example because he was famous) His FATHER shot and killed him because he sang on sundays! His father was a Baptist MINISTER!
I will say this one more time..
I do NOT PRACTICE religion. I DO NOT believe in all those bible stories. I have not practiced religion for over 25 years now..
I will NEVER set foot in that little Baptist church my father help build but was subsequently refused admission for his funeral because he had not attended the church services for some time! (My parents had moved to another town) You see, that's how religion works.. you have to GIVE MONEY in order to be admitted into "Jesus arms". THAT"S HOW I SEE IT.

1.Baptism = YOU make the decision to follow God. YOU count the cost. YOU decide if it is what you want to do. If YOU do not make the decision with ALL of your heart AND mind, then you were not baptized. God gave us free will. Read up about Baptism - what happened to you was you got wet - that was it. (Sadly that is what ALOT of people do...to make friends or familly members feel good - its not the outward show,. but what is inside.)
2.You may call yourself whatever you wish, but it doesn't make you that. IF you were, you would KNOW the Bible and not say some of the things you have said.
3.The Bible even states that being a good person, donations to a church, perfect attendance to a church, etc does not make you a follower of Christ. To follow Him = LOVE HIM with your whole heart & soul = accept His words as truth = follow His commands. If you don't = not a follower of Christ = not a Christian (ie "Christ - like"). Christ tells us to love and understand others - but do not hate, abuse, murder, etc (ie "treat others like you would like to be treated"); He does tell us to help others in all ways that we can.
4.But bottom line: each person makes his or her OWN decision. It is their life. Their choice. We are ALL free to choose to do whatever we want - just don't call it something that it is not, and don't force others do the same.
5.As per A******ns - they are WRONG! PERIOD. I agree & conceed this point - many people that claim to worship Christ do not. They only do so in name. This is similar to the problem those that worship Islam face.... People can call themselves ANYTHING they want, but it doesn't make them what they call themselves. If I look at a carrot and call it an apple - is the carrot now an apple? NO - it is still a carrot no matter what I say it is.
6.Marvin Gaye's dad may have been a minister - but did he follow Christ? Not if he killed his own son. Even back in Jesus's time, there were FALSE Teachers of the Law - there are MANY today too, sadly. Yes, many of these FALSE Preachers are only after monitary gains or Earthly Rewards. What does God say about this? That they are not Christians. (why? Because they were not following God, just the desires of their own heart and greed).
7.I don't know the story about your dad, but each person deserves a proper burial. (If he later became a Wiccan or Satanist, etc then it could be understood that a Christian church wouldn't have a funeral for him.) Other than that...it seems that other people at that church were fake Christians. If there was an injustice done to your family in that matter - I honestly do apoligize for what happened. BUT remember - everyone does make mistakes and can change.
8. Your last statement shows that you are not a Christian: you don't read or beleve His words and do not follow Christ. Therefore you can't be "Christ-like". Donations were taken to help the poor and needy - not to make someone rich. (see above to understand)
