  • I have a question please....

    What is Islam's conception of Allah? As in, what does He look like? In America, there is what I call "Christian mythology," where people believe that God is a man that sits in the clouds on a giant throne. It sounds exactly like the Greek's depiction of Zeus and so I call it "mythology." I myself am a Zen student, so naturally I am free of having to worry about "what God (or Allah, or Dieu, or Gott, or whatever you want to call it) looks like. Just curious. Thanks for answering.

      Allah is the name of god in arabic. he is the same god in all religions. he is the father in christianity. he is the god of jews. Islam and muslims believe on all the prophets from adam to mohamed including jesus and moise. We believe that Allah the almighty is the creator of the universe and he is covering everything. Allah or god is beyond our imagination he is supreme. whatever you imagine he is other than that. he is so powerful that the earth and all the universe is just a small cercle under his trone. i believe that this small presentation of our beloved god was helpful. Enjoy.

      Allah has no definite "known" image, in Islam. But just for clarification if a christian person wanted to have an image of allah they would just have to imagine their image of God (not Jesus, in Islam Jesus is a prophet) because Muslim Allah and Christian God are the same god (Allah is arabic for god).
