Green Egg Trick

The Cabbage juice can be used to measure acid or base levels of a liquid. Since the egg is somewhat basic, the color turns green. For acids it will turn purple, then red. For bases it will turn green, then yellow. For neither (pure water) it will turn blue.

to make the egg white green INSIDE the shell... so you can just crack it into the pan. That would be really neat.

Injecting into the egg yolk perhaps to get the real look of green eggs and ham.. google for pic

Try putting the cabbage juice in Sprite. Ooh, you can make green milk too, yeah? I want to try it on a bunch of stuff now XD

It turns green because cabbage juice is a natural indicator. Indicators change their colour depending on the PH of the liquid.
