Very short video of Ayrton Senna assisting Erik Comas. Shows Senna's heart...That is why he is so revered throughout the world.
I respect that driver for helping that frenchman he could have carried on which would have been wrong
By adamski 1143238838That other driver just passes by while Senna was running towards the crash that driver could have also helped and not just drive by going, o hey atleast its not me
By crazyman12345 1176785667That guy has a lot of respect, and big cojones to run across a place where cars go so fast :)
By ElTIco 1149389760wow his herat is gold he lost the game but won for hid goodness. he was a good man.Too bad he died
By mhux se nejdilkhom 1145274018this is the first time i saw such a humanity in this stupid race
By Me Again 1143224507This man has all my respect, not only could he out drive everyone on the planet but he was kind enough to stop and help. What a guy. Rest In Peace Senna and may you go down as the greatest F1 driver of your time, much better then shumi!
By frobo7 1149050212Firstly, this video dates from more than a few years ago - and the rules about getting out of your car weren't so PC as they are now. But then, here's a guy risking his life to help a colleague, just be grateful for that and don't make disparaging comments... Greater love hath no man but that he layeth down his life for his friends... comes to mind.
By Aspire 1143319668you ppl make fun on arabs but if u were here in egypt you could see alot of these clips happens in streets infront of you
By momo11 1149647198It was a nice thing to do, but you gotta keep in mind that they were only qualifying and also the guy that helped the other driver could've been smoked by another car... that wouldn't be much fun...
By jiggerball 1149444343Incredible and unusual human being... out of series
By titleman43 1145756176man he is d true winner.he cud hve took d advantage of dat crash.....
By achal 1145610411Anasugawa you have to be about the dumbest person that posts on this website. Why does everything you post automatically end up relating to the great country of America. You sound like one zealous man, angry because he cannot be an American and have all of the freedoms and pride that Americans have.
By Bermo 1146535749i live in belgium
i have more freedoms than you'll ever have
I won't claim to know your freedoms in Belgium, since I have never lived there. Have you lived in the US? If not, may I suggest you refrain from comments that are unrelated to the clip? Thanks!
Props to a great racer!!!
better than michael schumacher ever was.. he couldve handed anyone from todays racing their ass. it S**ks so hard that he died.
By piscesiscariot 1164524005i heard a lot about his name, as being a great driver, for some the greatest of all, but i had never seen this. My respect for this amazing person.
By Mister A 1144832287You race cars and your last name is "coma", can't be a good sign eh?
By GreenTJ 1144470636why did i spot my spellin mistake after i hit "post comment" i meant "inspiration"
By tomparkinson 1143748369love him or loath him senna was one of the worlds best F1 drivers, this man was able to feel his way around a track at high speed in terrible weather conditions!
It's such a shame this giant of motor sport is no longer with us, senna did the right thing in helping his opponent! The king is dead... Long live the King!
Remember all...the period that Mr. Senna raced in were the BIG dollar technical races. Those cars were so sophicticated but the minute one thing went wrong..that was it. He may have been know as someone who was involved in many accidents in his career, but he was a pure driver with honest skills. He always lobbied for safety. I was, and still am, a great fan of his because of those traits of his. He was a goood man and millions of people, so many years after his death, cannot be wrong. His legacy continues with what he and his family have formed (contributal organizations) in his, and my, Brasil.
By Kalspeed 1143524924Its a pity he died at San Marino in 1994. He was The greatest racing driver of his era and his life was tragically cut short. and to answer tintin2 he died as result of an accident at the San Marino Grand Prix in April 1994.
By Dark Magician 1143494342So I was out by a month. But there was another driver who was killed at the same race meeting. His name was Roland Ratzenberger. He died on the Friday and Senna died on the Sunday
By Dark Magician 1164043514he's a good man .i don't know S**t about him.how and when did he die???
By tintin2 1143464694Senna is the Only one with Heart of racing! Who care about each other. Don't see that no more, after he Passed away. Don't think any of those World Champions now days will do such of things .
By Devilly 1143460277I'd give that guyMy totall respect! Finally ! Some one who helps another recked driver!!
By razgriz 116 1143427595um...all those guys who said he risked losing the race obviously are quite oblivious. Big bold letters at the bottom of the screen try taking a look.
By Mistermino 1143412895Senna always had class. A true professional in fine form. He is missed on the racetrack. It hasn't been the same since he passed away. God Bless Aryton....
By Hu8gh 1143407025It's just too bad that Senna passed away in a terrible crash of his own. First driver who showed humanity instead of just wanting to win races.
By EyeSpy 1143388601have no idea what you're talking about. Senna was and still is to date the most selfish and dangerous f1 driver, showing absolutely no respect for his own life nor that of others on the track. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
By copyright 1143407511Think its you copyright that has no idea....... You will note that your comments about selfish and dangerous only relates to and limited to his racing style with Alain Prost......and it was a mutual thing.
Dangerous and selfish is more a Schumacher thing with his actions against Hill and Villeneauve, where it was so clearly blatant that he purposely tried to run them off the road so that he would win the championship.
How can you be so stupid? Don't comment on something or someone you know nothing about. Senna was never selfish or dangerous, he was a genius. SOmeone should get a sword and cut your head off for being so stupid.
By BRA 1146470510i love people ho care about others ...you don't see such things every day respect !
By thoowmas 1143375609The best driver there was ... he had most victories, and he had a heart of gold ... he got out to help the frenchman maybe yea someone will crash into it and more injuries will occur but then again at least he did get out to help and yes his name will be remembered forever ...
By Dudik 1143314636It just goes to show that there are some really decent people that "still" exist in this world of ours,... today!
By Wudluv2 1143263112BUT..A BIG BUT to say that this kind of guy isnt anymore among us.. Senna died in a crash..so.. will have to look for sm1 else..
By calapouf 1143306141Amazing to see someone running towards danger instead of away from it.
Quite an atmospheric backdrop.
if u guyz knew somthing about races its a bad idea assisting a guy in a middle of a road when other cars might crash it and lead to more injuries
By DudeIo 1143248854this is Senna, the man who knew a thing or two about car races, and he still got out to help a man in trouble
By bezumnik 1143374002I do a lot of ike track days, were told that if we stop to help someone well be kicked off the track and banned. Makes sense, thats how major accidents happen
By nutty 1143286622Nobody gives a F**k when your alive, nobody is interested, but now Senna is dead, all I hear is Senna this, Senna that. Van gogh was a peasant, who died pennyless, now hes a fuckin hero, its a bit late to overpraise the guy. Senna was a bloody good racing driver though!
By Scorpion X 1143231143What are you talking about, people used to talk about Senna when he was alive.
You must be one ugly, sad mother F**ker who just loves to be negative about things!!!!
You F**king prick!!! I would love to jump on your F**king head!!!
Gobshite!!!!
'You F**king prick!!! I would love to jump on your F**king head!!!
Gobshite!!!!', sounds like someone who likes to be very negative to me cmd123. Scorpion has an opinion as well as you and you are right and he is right, some people in this world die neglected, rejected and forgotten in their day like V.Gogh; and also Ayrton Senna, Brazilian Formula One triple world champion, regarded as one of the best drivers of all time was certainly talked about and respected by millions: (not really surprising!).
You have a valuable point there, it is sad that you are right concering a lot of people's lives: except some die without having any interest shown in them and also you never hear of them again. Thank God there is a God who cares, we are pathetic creatures at times. Was never too struck on Van V Gogh, i prefer a nice simple watercolour of say trees and mountains.
By ebony1 1143295245he risked losing just to help another human....we dont see that much anymore...
By Aspen 1143224065he risk more than the race, he risk his life running thru the f1 track like that
By dun bother 1143227824true Sportsmanship
what a guy but I'm betting his team probably punished him for caring snd showing compassion for his fellow man
