This man has all my respect, not only could he out drive everyone on the planet but he was kind enough to stop and help. What a guy. Rest In Peace Senna and may you go down as the greatest F1 driver of your time, much better then shumi!

Firstly, this video dates from more than a few years ago - and the rules about getting out of your car weren't so PC as they are now. But then, here's a guy risking his life to help a colleague, just be grateful for that and don't make disparaging comments... Greater love hath no man but that he layeth down his life for his friends... comes to mind.

love him or loath him senna was one of the worlds best F1 drivers, this man was able to feel his way around a track at high speed in terrible weather conditions!
It's such a shame this giant of motor sport is no longer with us, senna did the right thing in helping his opponent! The king is dead... Long live the King!

Remember all...the period that Mr. Senna raced in were the BIG dollar technical races. Those cars were so sophicticated but the minute one thing went wrong..that was it. He may have been know as someone who was involved in many accidents in his career, but he was a pure driver with honest skills. He always lobbied for safety. I was, and still am, a great fan of his because of those traits of his. He was a goood man and millions of people, so many years after his death, cannot be wrong. His legacy continues with what he and his family have formed (contributal organizations) in his, and my, Brasil.

Its a pity he died at San Marino in 1994. He was The greatest racing driver of his era and his life was tragically cut short. and to answer tintin2 he died as result of an accident at the San Marino Grand Prix in April 1994.

Senna always had class. A true professional in fine form. He is missed on the racetrack. It hasn't been the same since he passed away. God Bless Aryton....

It's just too bad that Senna passed away in a terrible crash of his own. First driver who showed humanity instead of just wanting to win races.

The best driver there was ... he had most victories, and he had a heart of gold ... he got out to help the frenchman maybe yea someone will crash into it and more injuries will occur but then again at least he did get out to help and yes his name will be remembered forever ...

Nobody gives a F**k when your alive, nobody is interested, but now Senna is dead, all I hear is Senna this, Senna that. Van gogh was a peasant, who died pennyless, now hes a fuckin hero, its a bit late to overpraise the guy. Senna was a bloody good racing driver though!
