Just b/c you know its not real doesn't mean you have to ruein it for the rest of the people that watch his shows. Me iam a big huge fan of his show and dont like it when people have to tell me that its fake.

animation at 39-41 sec. and at 62-63 sec animation too. It looks like the camera is filming right in front of him. but at 64 sec u see there is no camera. So the question is how does the camerman becomes invisible? Explain that sherlock?

What is he hiding by opening the umbrella as he rotates to go back down? It must have Something to do with the illusion. How he comes up with ways to create illusions in front of people without them seeing how is pretty incredible.

If you look at him going up, it looks as though there's something pulling him up by the back and the knees. If you watch him going down. It looks as though something is supporting him around the waist. Check it out!

I make films all the time and this is just like a film, its shot over a period of over an hour or two, how do i know, see for ur self. On the way up the sun is in front of the wall (same side as the cameras) and on the way down (an hour later) the sun has moved to the back of the wall and there is no shadow being cast on the floor any more as the way it was b4. also, there is a camera view from the top of the wall, how come from a long shot we dont see that camera at the top of the wall. this is just entertainment, watch it and enjoy it without bothering to check if its real or not (leave that to us film makers)

The sun is in the same spot through the whole thing. And how would taking a long time help with this illusion. This is one he does for live audiences so he probably can do it without taking all day.

Just because people can use camera tricks doesn’t mean all tricks are camera tricks.
There are still some old school illusionists left who come up with ways to do tricks you can see in person.

you say to think scientifically.. well if you do that then yes; you're right, it's impossible. But if you choose to be open minded and see that not everything is scientific then it is possible. Look at a sub-atomic level. Particles seem to behave like they have their own free will. In fact, free will is not scientific at all. You have it, I have it. Science isn't everything. Also, just because you can't prove something it doesn't mean that it isn't true. Ever tried to convince someone you were innocent of something but they wouldn't buy it? Yeah, particles seem to have their own free will - and that can be explained scientifically if you have enough knowledge about. Sure, some people physically push the boundaries - I sometimes go without eating for up to 2 or 3 days entirely unintentionally (I just forget...), but people cannot do that which defies 'existing naturally' as you so put it.

If people successfully proved that these gimicks were real, then I'm sure there'd be many more people willing to follow along. Being open-minded does not involve blind acceptance as such things require - no, it involves evaluation of a concept without prior prejudice; something that I think most people have done naturally as they age, and exit childhood.

Why is it then, that if it is nature - logic defies what we see in such cases as this? People who believe such things are wishful thinkers. We WANT to believe such things exist for various reasons that I will not detail at the moment (hell, it grants some people false hope and confidence at the most basic level).

This is what bothers me about the show, too many camera cuts, but other than that, its a fun show to watch. i just dont beleive he does 90% of the tricks.

if you have ever watch the show at the beginning of the show it says that he's a highly trained professional. Which means he don't do all of the tricks get it right.

I myself have produced, directed, starred in, and composed the score to several independent films including similar ones to this. It is just a clever trick.

If you've managed to levitate yourself 5 or 6 feet, you should be able to walk up walls by simply thinking a little and working the "gimmick" over a little. I'm not telling either of you how I've done it because the way I've managed to do it is quite dangerous and I wouldn't want to be responsible for any accidents unless you planned on posting the video on Metacafe. I'm sure there are other ways of doing it and figuring it out for yourself rather than being told will make you a better magician. Uniqueness is what has made magic what it is today. I came up with something and I'm sure you will too. Consider coming up with an all new gimmick. After you put on a few big shows using it and making piles of money with it, put a patent on it and sell it to anyone who wants one in an "ellusionist" kind of way.

Sorry guys and anyone else but this is something you'll have to figure out on your own.

Scoob, while i agree with the INTENT of ur msg, that is that "average" thinking is limiting, it is still necessary to ground your "sky's the limit" hopes with rational thought. Case in point: this video. Is it POSSIBLE that Criss has tapped into a "hidden power" or "opened his mind" enough to harness the 90% potential which we have heard so much about (from WELL before the internet wasa thought btw, Alkazar)? I would say "Yes." It is POSSIBLE. However, would it be easier for Criss to create a remarkable illusion to make us question the bounds of reality? Of course. If it were easy to tap that unused potential we ALL would.
NOTE: I did not suggest that it would be easy to duplicate this trick, just that it would be easier than learning to do it without wires, trick cam angles, etc.
In effect, what I am saying is "Consider Occam's Razor." Occam's Razor is a theory which says, basically, the simplest explanation for any event is usually the correct one. Do some homework: Criss's video available for sale actually shows how the short levitation trick works (a segment is actually available on Metacafe, clearly showing the trick). If Criss is truly able to do "magic" of this sort, why is he not selling videos teaching this? If he can do "magic" to help him walk - unaided - up a 2 story wall, why does he limit his 18 inch levitation trick to misdirection? If a 30-40' wall is so easy for him, surely 18 inches is nothing?
