It only works on hard boiled eggs, doesn't work on soft boiled eggs which are better.

The main problem...
I see is that the box is wooden... I don't know if I would recommend this, as wood can absorb fluids. This is also why wooden cutting boards aren't recommended. I think plastic would work better, and be easier to clean as well.
