    For those obviously confused about this video, it's NOT a game, its an FMV which would look good on the PS2 or XBOX, nevermind the PS3. There is no way that the 1st generation of game releases will look really next gen. The same is true of the 360. Althogh G.R.A.W looks awesome.

      why would they make a ps3 if the graphics would run on a ps2 dumbass?. the graphics for the ps3 are much better than the ps2 why would they make there first releases of games the same quality as the ps2 games that would be pointless u twit. the first games are always class so the consumers are attracted to the game thats how business works.. i dont play these kinds of games but the graphics are kik ass

      The reason the first 50 something games for both the 360 and PS3 were equivalent to their inferiors is because the Developers have to play with the system a bit to see how much shit they can put in a game. They make their first games to hold you guys off while to real game making goes on in back. Learn

      This 'FMV' was, in fact, rendered in real-time by PS3 hardware. It was not a pre-rendered sequence, like the CG FMVs of old. Yes, the PS3 DOES have the capability to run games that look like this. And they WILL look like this.

      Another great example of a real-time render is the Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer/demo. Oh, and the PS3 Killzone demo. None of these are pre-rendered.

    I'm a fan of the FF franchise and I pray that the gods of gaming hear me. TAKE TECHNOLOGY OUT OF IT!!! I hated the big mechanical and futuristic cities, i hated the subway, I hated Shinra and all that crap. Keep the Cid's, keep the airships, keep the spells, keep the swords AND the armors. Simply put, keep it medieval with a touch of engineering.

    FF2 was and is still the best of the serie. FFX is just slightly behiend. Total complete crap undeserving of a FF title: FFX2 and FF mystic quest. I mean come on! Signing and dancing. Is that really supposed to hurt a monster weighing ten tons??? Storyline in mystic quest sucked bad bad bad. Honorable mention to FF3 and FF8 is okay but could have been better with a deeper plot.

      FFVII defines the final fantasy series now. People dont play it for its graphics you dumbass the storyline was kick-ass. Compared to FFVII the others are SHIT, save for FFX and onward, and maybe 9.

      There is absolutely NO WAY that they won't do a remake of FFVII. Sure they said they wont but they would make a serious amount of money if they did do a remake, so of course you know they are lol

      This version for ps3 looks great as far as the video goes, if you think it looks the same as ps1 you need to go back and watch the intro from the original ps. Huge differences and the pixels look great! If you can't tell a difference from the original right click it and open it in fullscreen. Huge difference. Note - None of this footage is from Advent Children. Granted Cloud does look like he did in advent children because it is what he looks like, and how his appearance would be on more complex animated graphics.

            this game is RENDERD BY THE PS3. On PS2, they render it on a computer and play it in mpg on the PS2.
            On the other hand, this video, is not renderd on a computer. This was all PS3 rendering. So basically, thats how it will look like when you play and actually move around. Not a cinematics.

                the graphics on this are INCREDIBLE. I remember playing fable on ps2 and the graphics were so incredible at the time, it wasnt even funny. Now looking at this, its just amazing how much the quality has grown in a little over a year.

                      this looks good but it is more likely to be pre-renderd as all the vidoes so far for the PS3 have been including the Killzone demo it was a movie and not gameplay. it was made to look like gameplay. you can tell this as when the flying object crashes and kills the player and goes in slow-mo which does not happen on any game released also if it does have this feature well i was wrong to this.

                                        I'm sure the ps3 has great graphics but you really cant tell when the clip is compressed to this size. I really couldn't tell the diffrence from the orginal FF7 footage in the clip.

                                                    they never show anything that looks how its gonna play. who gives a shit if it looks good when the camera is flying around the world. i wanna see it in the perspective im gonna see it when i play. thats why i hate game demonstrations these days, they never show you what youre gonna see when you play, they just show it from a third person perspective with people doing random shit like just walking around. like PGR3 looks awesome in replay mode but im not impressed when im actually playing the game.
