nice car, and must be a terrific driver to handle that sort of power, cant say enough about the driver, looked like it wasnt modified with AWD or anything, so man to handle that thing, guy (or girl) is definately what I would call a pro

its a staged race, the truck prolly runs a 10 sec 1/4 mile so the truck starts sooner, then the supra goes after about 2 seconds so the race is fair. if they didnt do that the ricer Industry would be destroyed lol. i used to own a 1992 supra, that supra is the fastest gasoline powered 2jz (engine model) in the world. he mostly uses a huge turbo and about 30 psi, awsome car!

I'm not a drag racing fan, per se. But I have seen this before. It's some kind of handicap for a car that's in a faster bracket than another one. The slower car gets the green light sooner, and then the faster car gets his a bit later. No idea what it's called or how it works, though.

both drivers say what time they will finish in. the slower car can still win if the faster car doeent follow his time frame.

Any types of cars can be paired. Its not technically based on racing each other. Like Cragrat said, it depends on the time frame. Say someone says ill finish in 10.2 seconds, and the guy he's racing says ill finish in 15 seconds. Whoever comes closer to their time wins. They say automatic transmissions have a pretty big advantage because all they do is slam on the gas and dont have to worry about timing the gear switching.
