This robot I total invest 30 bucks, however, the actual cost is only 10 bucks, 20 bucks went to test and preparation...each 50cm long PVC tube cost only $0.5(USD) in Singapore, T-Join for $0.5(USD) per set. ask them to cut for you free. total cost less than 10 bucks

it owuldn't work, it needs the baseplates to step on, i walks on an arch-type movement, if you notice it nerly touches the table between steps.

many improvements can be make on the design and the capabilities of the Walker. Better make finish them very fast and send it to the toys factories. Patent first ;) With a nice marketing it will be bestseller.

sure, still got many thing need to be improved, especially the knee part. I am think of how to make a knee for the robot. so won't need to put a mat for each step.

have a single joint knee so it can bend when it collides with the floor (single direction bending) then once it hits its climax and starts returning to the ground the knee will not bend and it will walk on a stiff leg, the knee would have to be very close to the foot for it to work, i have done this before, i did have to put teflon sliders though. make sure to mention me if you do this.

is the table level or was it tilted a little towards the front of the walking direction? Also what are those white pads on the table- foam, so that the robot 'legs' don't split?

Is it only the inertia that makes it move? I assume the reason it walks is because the middle feet are very heavy so the center of gravity is low and there is somewhat of a pendulum action. How did you come up with this, that is if it is your idea?
