There were over 400 auditioners for the 49er Gold Rush Cheerleader squad and they held auditions on 3/25/06. I won a contest on KNBR to be one of the judges. I heard this Jealous, Jealous Boyfriend song about 75 times. #124 in the hot pink & white was my favorite, so her final audition is in the second part of the video.

      I was one of the fan judges, so we were up in the stands like you'd be if you were at the game. the judges on the court cut it in half from the 150 or so and then they used our votes to pick the final squad. I only gave a yes to about 50 and the total squad is 40 babes. they haven't put up the new team on the 49er web site yet.

      as I was watching their first move which was clapping their hands and if they looked to the side to see what was next, I knew they didn't have a clue and it was unlikely they were getting my vote. I'm sure #124 was a returning squad member. watch the way she gets the hair out of her face as she makes that one move..
