Here is a detailed description on how to make a secret, hidden folder to save any sort of files you dont want family and friends to find or see... there are a few videos on how to create one on a desktop computer but non for laptops, its a slightly different process! please rate highly if you like!! please feel free to private message me with questions you may have getting this to work, im happy to answer as many as i can.     • Hi mate

      The code for the hidden folder is 0160 but because laptops have no numeric keypad you have to entre the numbers a differnt way... You may have (if you look closely) on your letter keys little BLUE numbers... To use these numbers you have to press at the same time the little blue Fn key bottom left (it should be) try that...if that fails open up MS WORD or NOTEPAD and press the Fn key and press all of your keys in order I.E. A B C D E F ETC ETC some should stay as letters, others will turn into numbers...remember the keys that acces 0160 and use them!

    i need to know what the song is.

    but any way there is a much easier way to do it:
    1) go to my documents.
    2) go to "tools" then"folder options"
    3) click view and click "show hidden files"
    then....
    1) thats is, now right click on a folder
    2) properties
    3) check the "hidden tab

    there you go... repeat step 1 if you want actually hide the icon.

    For a business we had once, we needed a laptop and a computer! When the business was over, I got the laptop! Since it was big and exspencive I can do do everything a PC can do (HPtv5000)! Been doing this alll the time and not thinking of it anything special

      Vista is not something i work with, Nor should anyone else as its a pile of rubbish. Pc world, who "did" advertise the fact all new computers came with vista NOW advertise the fact that you can choose vista or xp with all new computers! Sorry i could not be ofmore help, I have not gon out my way to study vista cos not many people are gonna be using it!

    the Mjob thing didnt work, so i assume that the point of it was to pull what is abasically a space from the char map right? thats what i did and so far it works, but is their away to make sure it always appears at the end of lists?

      i dont quite catch your drift there my good sir but thank you for your comment. As most people know, the code for an invisible folder is ALT 0160. as most laptops dont have a numeric keypad, the only way round this is to put NUMLK on and use the numbers Hidden in some letters... for example... with NUMLK on i press the letters on my keyboard from left to right speklling... qwertyuiop now most comuters will hide certain numbers behind some letters so with it on the same line of letters MAY look like this qwerty12i34p...
      the object is to find the numbers 0160 and use them (no capital letters) Thank you for your comment! I hope this helped!

      1st Right click the folder and rename it anything then right click again, properties, change icon to a folder, apply, then ok. now the folder is visible, you can delete it! Thanks for takin time out to message me...I hope iv been a help!
