GREAT IDEA
Have been searching for something inexpensive for awhile. I added a top off a digital tripod to mine. Walmart sells small tripods for $12-$15. The camera mount is held on with a small phillips head screw. Seems to cut down on vibration a little and is adjustable...Thanks for posting this idea....

Simple design. Lens protector would be great for the dirt and rocks that we riders usually get hit by.

Too much wind noise...
Try taping some gauze over the microphone hole to reduce the wind noise. Other then that, great invention!! 4 stars!
