This demonstration is used to confuse and spark the interest of all my students. I usually throw the water at them at the end of the demostration. Unfortunately there were no volunteers. Enjoy the trick, I posted how to do it in another movie, if you are intereseted. Music: Kevin MacLeod

take a chemistry class
the water is real and the science is real... in the last cup is a chemical called sodium polyacrylate (it's the same chemical used in diapers) that absorbs liquids. Did this many times but we put the cup on people heads upside down!

Hey
Ok heres a tip for doing video editing first of all when you wanna cut to the next scene try to hold the camera as steady as possible or use a tripod. Second if you want to make it more believable stand in one spot really still when u cut it then quickly get an empty cut and start again but make sure you are extermly still

Observation
The first cup at the beginning of the video lets u know the cup below it has something in it... When he adds water the second cup does not make the same sound as the others do which lets u know as well that somethings in it...follow that cup and u will see it is the last cup...you dont have to be smart to figure that out
