You can also use flour too, and these work because when you blow it or throw it the particles seperate and leave all the sides open so then they burn

when u breath out, if u would to breath in as the fire is going up, would the fire come back down at you and burn you? because ive seen that happen so many times with fire breathers.

- Well I suppose
  That you could burn your mouth, but that is not very likely. Cornstarch won't burn unless it has plenty of air in it. A pile - or a mouthful - won't burn unless you blow it. Practice with smaller mouthfuls first if you are worried. Also, never blow down. Fire rises, so that would be like spitting into the wind. Always blow up or out.

- Anything that is hard to blow out
  You can use almost anything, even a match, if you blow on it right after it is lit, while the chemical stuff is still burning. Other good flame sources included flares, or a blow torch. As I said in the video, I used a cotton ball soaked in white gas (coleman camping fuel). Rubbing alcohol and various other liquid fuels will also work.
