    To be able to use spare/old parts... 3 months ago I replaced my very very old self-built PC, so I have a full assembly of parts at my disposal that are collecting dust. However, what does your server DO? You say it's just a few webpages... what's the point? A friend I had long ago used old computer parts, put them in a compact fridge and ran an internet radio server. K-FRG was it's name. It was a setup similar to yours, a power supply, motherboard, and very bare minimum parts and it was on all the time.

      im a web designer, and im a small time web host(for friends), i was about to blow $$$$.$$ for a server, to do what my drawer server is doin. and its a file server, so when i run out of space and i need to store somthing asap, i just drop it there, and pick it up anywhere that has internet. and i think it kinda look cool to have a secret server available to the world, and no one would guess its in my drawer.

      im actually designing a better site for it...but its on a test for now.

      its quiet, and used 25W..(a light bulb)lol... it started as an expirement to prove my freinds wrong, they told me i could never host a site at my house...i proved them wrong and did it on my desktop, but i realised, i mess with my desktop and if it shuts down people will be not so happy, so i got this.

      now that u mention it, i was gona start broadcasting a jamaican tv station. but thats all in my head for now,(capture card, drivers for linux...im not too sure)
