when the "magician" was getting close to the box with the hands he was putting his hand there (you can see the big hole when he reputs the rocket back to the original shape

I was always curious about those cut the man in half box tricks and the like and why are they done on a raised stage - I guess that with cutting the person in half it just involves to people instead of one.
