God has the rights to do or not to do anything, to reveal or not to reveal anything, to inform us or not about anything. He created everything in heavens and on earth. Are not dinosours belongs to creations of God? If dinosours were mentioned in the Qur'an, what benefit will we get? Information ? ok, is it enough? Think of it.

Iraq and its "bad" people are always killing and beating each other. i used to be christian. but its all bull, nothing but a means to exert power over it's people.. being christian doesnt mean you are a good person. the crimes one may commit in a life is too short to be punished for all of enternity. The church has tried to censor many scientific findings, executing Copernicus is one example.. and if there was a god, you think he would want his children to worship him all day? or even judgement day? (why would he want something he built to come to an end?) i find it funny how if a person were to question god's existence he is "tempted by the devil" (what a perfect way to excercise power).. religion has only caused conflict b/w groups and brought out the worse in us, because we think we are fighting the good fight. im not saying a god doesnt exist, i believe that the physics of the universe and life is magical but what we call ourselves (christian, muslim, buddist) doesnt matter. We were given a life (and all relgions agree this is something special), and it is through that gift that we find our own definition of life and death, not through a big ass book that is a "product of man and not god"..

That's what Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was. No disrespect, because i am a muslim myself, I only beleive in the religon because of my parents, and i still live at home. If i deter in any direction my ass is good as dead or at the least kicked out..lol..but yea..i'm somewhat confused..in today's modern world, if some1 exhibits signs of hearing voices, seeing things, getting the direct word from god or having god-like power, then wouldnt one in today's society classify them as having some form of mental disorder. Be schizophrenia, psychosis, hallucinations, paranoia and delusion. Surprisingly mohammed (PBUH), exhibited all these signs. So this came to me..what if all my life, i've been following the sayings of a crazy person, that reinterpreted the bible or something. I havent read the bible, so i cant comment on it, but what i think is that religon was created as a means to acheive power. Through religon, any government can control their population. The united states it self uses chritianity, always using the terms may god bless america, The saudis and taliban use islam for complete control, israli's use judism, every country uses a specific religon. And now i am strongly beginning to doubt religon, and maybe just being a good, decent, humane, individual is all that we shud be to successfully carry out our lives in peace with one another. PS I really dont like this business of having to pray 5 times a day..like S**t i'm not a robot...i dont got time for that..its like the ultimate form of repetitive control..u repeat allah is great 100 times a day..ur gonna be suppressed..like honestly i'm tired of this!

And come up with your own conclusion before you judge. There are a lot more scientific fact that were just discovered a few years ago and there are still more on the way. You can call it a "Fluke" if you want... and believe what you want... but don't talk crap from what you see the people that call themselves muslim do... Go do your own research (not by asking a priest about islam) but by actually asking an islamic priest (sheikh). No, they wont kill you or take you hostage... they are lovable people and will love to teach you... If you are open to learning new things.

and any other holy text for that matter. I'm an atheist. I'm very open minded and I have done the research... that's partly the reason I am an atheist. I read the Bible, studied some Islam, Buddhism, different traditions of paganism, Taoism, pantheism, and some other obscure religions (although I don't claim to be an expert). They all have one thing in common. They can't prove anything supernatural actually exists. So, yeah, you can keep your ancient holy book.

I used to be athiest about 5 years ago... but still i was learning about different religions and everything. So all you can do is research like you said... and come up with your own conclusions. The first thing that God told the Prophet was "Read" so ya... education and researching is everything that we believe... and if you find something to be true then you must follow it.. So whatever you believe, believe it, i'm not one to judge you and am happy that you came to your own conclusions.

One fact though... the Quran is proof by itself. In the Quran they challenge anybody to write such a book, or even a singe sentence that matches or is better than the ettiquate and powerfullness of the Quran. If somebody beat that it would be all over the news cause it would prove that Islam is wrong, but nobody to this day has. I will end it there,

it's nice that you tell me to believe what I find to be true about the world, but don't turn around and tell me that the Quran is proof. Proof of what, exactly? I'm curious.

The Quran is most definately from God himself. No human can put such a masterpiece together. The Quran even challenges anyone to come up with one verse that has equal or greater intellegence and elequence in the wordings and teachings. Nobody till this day was able to beat this challenge.. because the Quran is sooo deep.

Also, even though the Quran is greater than our understanding at times, it never contradicts human thinking. Example, 1 1=2; unlike the trinity that says 1=3 and 3=1.

The Quran is a history book, a novel, a scientific book, tells stories, an elequent poem, a book of life, all in one. Nothing compares to it... and until you have read it then please don't post your own conclusions on what you believe the Quran is, cause you don't know until you read it right??

And if you're afraid cause "i've read other religious books like it and blah blah blah" then answer me this. If you had one bad steak at a restaurant, will you stop eating steak for the rest of your life???

I had a bad salisbury steak in high school and haven't touched it since. I don't eat red meat anymore, anyway.

The fact of the matter is, I never had just ONE bad steak. I "tried" a few religions before I decided that all of them are nonsense and not worth the time.

just read the whole quran that is translated in english and juge for your self. although you wont understand some of the verses which i dont as well. because it is a miracle it talks about the way of life and the creation of life, future events as well but in an unclear way. it is truely remarkeble. try to understand it deeply.

Islam is the "one true religion" because they know that heaven is in the ionosphere.

They should've used a betters scientific fact... cause that one is small and people will say the same thing you did... but there are many more scientific facts where the Quran actually goes into detail about the matter... and we've only found that out recently to be scientifically true.

where are these scientific facts that the Quran goes in detail about? I keep hearing about them, but until someone posts them, I'll just assume that the above clips are the best it has to offer so far.
