That's a hell of a way to get people to keep clicking
thats a cool illusion
just feel like an atom bomb is dropping on house...
Great vid ! Hell it's still falling --LOL
There are 3 octaves on top of each other each playing at different volumes. As the notes fall, the lower octave is faded out in volume and the higher ones faded in in volume so that once one full octave is fallen down in notes the higher octaves have faded in in volume to match the volume level of the lower octave, thus reaching the exact same volume/octaves levels as in the beginning of the video and a new high octave has been brought in to match the starting situation.
I listened to it 5 times and every time it impresses me :)
awsome sound trick !
Very unique! =)

good explanation
The "low" tone fades off the bottom, by the time it does, a new "high" tone begins, repeating the whole process. Just basically looping.
sounds weird 5*
I am totally stunded by this video!!! I am a musicain with a super keen ear for pitch and I can NOT figure out how the hell you done this. Can you PM me and let me know cause it's one of the neatest videos I've ever seen!!!
There's clearly 2 or more tones in the sound so your brain will keep following the lower tone. I can't explain it entirely but that is the basics behind it.
based on what my music teacher has taught me about sound....in the tone they are playing...there are actually like a bunch of notes being played at the same time... and so because of that they are playing a "scale", leading tones and whatnot...when you hit replay your ear automatically wants to hear the lower tone which was actually being played throughout the tone you just heard...its like if i were to play a C scale on the piano starting form C and going backwards, if i stopped at the low D note your ear would automatically start "hearing" the C below that D note even though i havent actually played the note yet. i dont know if that made sense
Once I really listened for it I could tell. Simply amazing still!
I've fallen and I can't get up! Pretty cool and freaky!
This is really nice! I just played 100 times and finally got to sleep! LOL
Good job, man!
AWESOME

True dat'.
maybe the video is like making your brain say wow its actually getting deeper! like the piano and water?
very freaky, indeed - but i kept waiting at the end for the low rumble of an explosion - lol!
