  • Volvo..best in safety features...

    I'm from Malaysia..I'm a mechanical (automotive) engineer..I have to admit that Volvo is the best car in the world..and frankly speaking, the safest car in the world..If you study automotive, you'll find out that 85% of the safety features on all types of cars nowadays were initiated by Volvo..the seat belt, the air bag, the Side Impact Protection System(SIPS), the ABS, stability control , the anti-rolling system..those are all from Volvo..all other cars took their technology, and rename it as though it is theirs...Volvo, to me..is the best...

  • Volvo is amazing

    I had a BMW 330, an Audi A4, Accord V6, Ford Mondeo ST220 and SAAB 93. Now I have a volvo and is better in all ways. The volvo is more confortable and have 280 HP (S40 T5 with Evolve chip). Security is premium in the Volvo, but handling is the best. The new DSTC system is just amazing.

      My dad owned a Mercedes Benz C200 and a BMW 325i(2005). My mum owns a Volvo S70 2.0T which she bought last year (2nd hand). My dad loves to drive my mum\'s car. He says he feels comfortable & confident at the wheels of a Volvo. He even said that he can\'t compare the cars even though the BMW & Mercedes have the same cc (or more) than the S70.He had to get his hand on a Volvo. Now,he sold both the C200 & 325i and bought the new Volvo S80 2.0T and the V50. Honestly, even I like driving the Volvos.

    Anyone who feels that a headlamp wiper is an important first, knows nothing of cool.
    Volvo has always been the first in safety. But, honestly, when talking of cool, safety doesn't come up, and Saab will never compare.
    Volvo is definately the hottest # of those four.

    This was a pr film for the launch of the S60 in 2001(?) The test track is great fun and the R version was great to drive here. Though a modified A4 was just my favourite!

    Even I love the Volvo also best, how that there was no saab ride? I guess that this man is not a former racer. He would know Saab Aero cars, speaking about Saab 93 aero Vigen is far away of a word 'boring'. There was no mention about car motors. Audi RS4 would show him no waves, the same 'not a drivers car' would explain him the Mercedes C32AMG. But finaly I agree that I would choose Volvo S60R. Anyway this was an unfair compare..

    Volvo is boring. Saab is the first car to incorporate seat belt, and not Volvo. Saab is the first to incorporate turbocharging and headlamp wiper. Get your facts right.

      You are wrong about the first turbo car from saab, Chevrolet Corvair 1964 was the first produced car with turbocharging. Keep it to the facts, as u say. Saab first with seatbelts? no. volvo was.

    • Your right about Saab being a cooler car

      Now about the facts. Volvo was the first car to incorporate seatbelt that was stuck on three places. And Saab wasn't the first car to incorporate turbocharger (though they where very early and i think that Saab 900 turbo from somewhere in the 80:s is great, both eyecandy and good performance).
