  • I've did this with foil and muratic acid

    Muratic acid, which is found at most hardware stores, reacts a little quicker. I'm pretty sure the fumes off of either chemical are toxic, especialy when they start disolving the foil and release into the air. And it is pretty dangerous. You could definately burn your eyeballs and skin in the form of an acid burn!

      i didn't know that! ill have to try it. I have got the acid on my hands before and it doesn't do much. about the same as Bleach. it makes your hands feel like you have oil on them because it takes the rough layer off your skin. you don't feel any pain from it though. I'm sure it would blind you though lol you can also use Red Devil LYE it's a toilet cleaner you can buy it at any food store or hardware store i think even walmart sells it. it comes in a powder form and you have to mix it with water But it is almost to fast. you cant even get the lid on the bottle.

      I didn't know about the lye! Is there a certain amount of water that you mix or, just enough to form a liquid? I didn't realize that stuff was that weak. The fumes really S**k though! Thanks for the info!

      Yup you mix it with water I use like a 30/1 ratio being 30 parts water 1 part lye because it is so strong thinning it down gives you a bit more time to work. I agree with you on the fumes they are harsh. i am new here and wasnt sure what the rules were Thats why i put "not dangerous" I had a few videos denied already for reasons i have yet to know. and some of them were really cool

      A little common sense goes a long way. It ruins it for everyone else, when one idiot out of the crowd either ingests, or breath in something, or gets hurt doing something that they should already know
      not to do! There is nothing wrong with your video, people think they can say whatever they want because they're hiding behind a computer. If people don't like it they should just watch something else. If blowing up soda bottles is to hardcore for them to watch, then maybe they should do a search for something a little less violent, like how to knit!!

      didn't mean to snap on you there i think it was the "the person who made this video must be retarded" that got me going. I'm not sure about Drano and foil i don't know what make up Drano but it very well could! it takes salt water and metal alloy to create hydrogen.
