UnEpic review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of UnEpic for PC independently developed and published by EnjoyUp. UnEpic has that whole explore, 2d nonlinear progression thing going on for it but with a stronger emphasis on the RPG elements; which makes me like it even more. Like most RPGs, you gain XP, level up, get loot and adventure onward and UnEpic does it quite well. The mystery and challenges of the castle require a trial by fire, but nothing feels insurmountable with dedication and experience -- the mark of a good role-playing game. Between the strange yet witty banter, uniqueness of the story, the complex character creation system and a sometimes brilliantly deadly castle design that demands trial by fire; UnEpic is a no brainer. It's a game for gamers. This video review features video gameplay footage of UnEpic for PC and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Steve.

Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend Of Zelda on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Nintendo. All legends start somewhere. Originally released to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, this was the starting point for the most beloved legend in gaming—Nintendo’s masterful Legend of Zelda. The original game, though dated in many ways, has aged incredibly well. And most incredible of all is how much it truly has in common with later Zelda classics, like Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. Playing as the boy hero Link, players are sent off on their own in Hyrule, a massive open world that was truly unprecedented in video games 1987. There’s no direction or guidance given, and to conquer the evil plaguing this land, players must apply real-world logic and problem-solving skills. They must talk to the right people, find the right items and go to the right places. Either that or get a map. The Legend of Zelda is a single-player gaming masterpiece, and is now available on the Wii U’s eShop. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend Of Zelda on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Exciting Billiard review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Exciting Billiard for Famicom Disk System developed and published by Konami. Exciting Billiard (not entirely sure why they didn't go with "Exciting Billiards" but it's 1987 so who knows) brings the pool-hall experience to your living room on the Famicom Disk System. After stepping into the Konami Hustler's Club, you've got your choice of four styles of pool to shoot, complete with stat-tracking and four-player, pass-the-stick multiplayer. You can even play for (admittedly fake) money! This video review features video gameplay footage of Exciting Billiard for Famicom Disk System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
