First off, Kimbo is a scary man, but he is simply an internet celeb. If he were a great boxer, he would be fighting great boxers. The only real boxer he ever fought, he had to use MMA on. On that note, he fought a sub-par MMA guy and loses. So he cna't really box, and he can't hang MMA. Everyone who is a fan of his is just tricked into seeing a strong man hit guys that have no training. Kimbo, as a true fighter, is a joke.

I like him,he fights clean,and never hits when his apponent is down, he is a knock out fighter,but needs to work on his stamina

How about a K-1 bout? I still think he'd get his A$$ beat-up by most, but it's obvious if you've seen other Kimbo fights, that he is a better fighter than most you'd find on the streets. He has some natural ability, much more (in my opinion) than Bob Sapp. Bob Sapp is a fun guy to watch fight, but his technique is lacking to say the least. If Kimbo had some conditioning, I think his power would get him far in stand-up only style fights.

Gannon tried kneeing him and would have finished the fight much sooner using them if kimbo's buddies wouldn' have stopped him. I doubt Kimbo even knows how to fight using other then his fists. He would get submitted by any half decent UFC fighter.

I don't really care. Sure, it's true, Kimbo probably wouldn't last very long against most experienced UFC fighters, but he's not a UFC fighter and doesn't try to be. He's just a big brawler. A street fighter. That's the point. Kimbo does no holds barred street fighting and so on. There are some bare knuckle boxers out there who could take down any F**ker on the street, but wouldn't last five minutes in the octagon with Tito Ortiz. However, this doesn't make them weak. It just means they're not trained wrestlers, kickboxers, etc. Kimbo's fights are entertaining.

He never fights anyone that has a chance. But I like him even though he wouldn't last in the ring for 5 minutes.

I understand that this guy has his thing going on, but to actually be able to take any one of us down would be a dream for Kimbo, he needs way too much practice and training for this, Im telling everyone in this room, even a 2 yr degree practice for the Octagon will school him with a KO. His guard is up, but he should go train and meet us in the UFC... I heard him quote, saying he could beat UFC Fighters but till this day, I havent seen him TRY to go against Any Real UFC fighters... I still give him his props though!! HE can still do his street fighting!!!

Everyone one of y'all continues to say, he can't last against a UFC fighter. I saw the Kimbo vs. Gannon video, and I was impressed. I know Kimbo does nothing but get in punches, but if he had the training that these UFC guys had, he'd be good competition. All he needs is some proper training. If he was able to put people in submissions, and use his knees, and feet, he'd do more damage than these videos show. Give the guy some props for what he can do. He is a great fighter when it comes to street fighting.

But I must say if he was in the octagon with a heavy weight UFC fighter they would flat take him out, Kimbo would be gased in a matter of a minute or 2. Don't get me wrong he is one big badass dude, but his cardio would never standup to a warrior in the UFC. Anyone who has actualy been in the ring like I have knows it is the most physical thing you can ever do. I don't know how the Heavy Weights go 12 rounds, simply incredible

Hes strong but you put him in any Boxing, UFC, Pride Fighting, K1 Kick Boxing, or any other Mixed Martial Arts fighting sports he would get messed up by there avg guys. Tyson would wipe the floor with this guy, hell Mike Tyson would have given Ali a badass fight.
