Patapon review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Patapon for Playstation Portable developed by Pyramid and Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Patapon is God Game where the player takes control of a small tribe of Patapons, little creatures that look like eyeballs with arms and legs. You will command these beings into combat against other tribes. How you command them is where the game really sets itself apart. You tap buttons to the rhythm of a beat, which commands your Patapons to preform different actions. As you complete successful missions, you will earn spoils of war which can be used to upgrade your current tribe members and also birth additional Patapons. It is great to see such a unique game that takes drastically different genres and mixes them together with such style. Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 is a beat ‘em up game based on the popular Fist of the North Star franchise. Ken’s Rage 2 is a sequel to the original Ken’s Rage, which was a solid brawler. This one is less solid. Ken's Rage 2 tells the same Fist of the North Star story and gives players largely the same gameplay. This is a very button-mashy game, and its charm is derived almost entirely from its massive amounts of enemies and blood. Protagonist Ken can cause enemies to explode with a simple touch, which makes Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 a particularly bloody game. It’s certainly not for those with weak stomachs. Tear through dozens of enemies at once in this over-the-top beat ‘em up! Serious Sam was a first person shooter released in 2001. It featured a different style of first person shooter combat, combat in Serious Sam usually takes place in large open areas with large groups of enemies. The game is somewhat reminiscent of classic first person shooters in that the game goal of the game is to fight through waves of enemies and reach an exit.
