weary,
almost blind.
He feels he can't keep up with the tribe.
So the whole group stops and they say goodbye to him,
one by one,
his children too.
They leave him there,
just like that,
with a little pile of firewood.
The old man sits in the snow, calmly,
remembering his life,
and when the wood runs out
he freezes to death.
Is that one of the stories you'd tell us?
