The clip opening monologue from The Blue Elephant (2008)

Once upon a time and long ago,
in the faraway kingdom of Siam,
there lived a legendary elephant named Khan Kluay.
Some think he never existed.
Others say he was only a myth.
Well, I was there, and I can tell you
every word of this story is true.
It all began when peaceful Siam
was invaded by neighboring Burma.
Our city and our homes were under siege.
But even in the darkest hour,
there's always a ray of hope.
