Democratic Presidential hopefuls arrive in Chicago on convention eve as a wide-open race shapes up. Senator Estes Kefauver, Senator Richard Russell and W. Averell Harriman are among the early arrivals, followed by "dark horse" Adlai Stevenson. Kefauver has been widely considered the front runner, but it is Governor Stevenson who will emerge from the convention as the Democratic candidate.
