The Liveaboard experience gives divers the chance to access remote and previously unexplored dive sites. The wreck of the S.S. Thistlegorm, an allied ship sunk by Rommel in 1941 and originally located by Jacques Cousteau in 1956, was recently rediscovered by such adventurous tourists. Its near intact and perfectly preserved cargo of Bren gun carriers, trucks, motorbikes and even trains can now be explored while surrounded by the new inhabitants of the wreck, Groupers and Bonito, who prey on the cascade of ever moving glass fish.
