Camden is the best place in the world to listen to music according to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Coldplay were signed after a gig at Camden's Falcon pub. Camden Town is packed with bars, pubs and clubs that offer live guitar music every night of the week. The Dublin Castle is a cosy little pub where guitar superstars of tomorrow play in the back room. Madness played some of their first gigs here, and Jarvis Cocker, Blur and Noel & Liam Gallagher have been noted sipping a pint in the corner. Just down the road is the famous live music club The Monarch. Stars such as The Strokes, Coldplay, Ash, Doves and Travis have graced the stage. The club is a popular hangout for A&R and music types.
