Every Friday night inline skaters from all over the world meet at Montparnasse station. The three-hour ‘Friday Night Fever’ tour starts at 22.00 sharp. Every week up to 20,000 skaters pass by Paris sights. It’s high speed action. All participants need to know the basic skills of skating. The sightseeing speed freaks roll past Gare d'Austerlitz, Rue Rivoli, the Louvre, Place de la République and the Bastille. At half time they all stop at the posh Place Vendome, home to luxury Parisian jewellery boutiques. This is the best place to go to meet new people and to learn the latest inline dance steps with the ghetto blaster team. The Friday Night Fever tour is free.
