Fast-food junkies are rehabilitated at the Promenades Gourmandes. Ex-fashion guru and super-chef Paule Caillat teaches curious kitchen newcomers the basic arts of French cuisine, quickly. The menu is discussed in advance. Early in the morning Paule meets her students at the market in the Marais area of Paris. Here they buy the fresh ingredients for the Promenades Gourmandes cookery class. Beginners are as welcome as professionals. In her show kitchen Paule demonstrates how to cook a complete French meal. The preparation of starter, main course and dessert and their consumption takes place in less than three hours. Half-day Promenades courses can be booked by up to three people. It is important for Paule that participants learn to cook good food easily.
