To kick off the first issue of GOOD, we asked W+K 12, the educational outpost of Portland, Oregon-based advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, to devote their time and creativity to find a way to visually display the theme: I (heart) America. Now in its third year, W+K 12 recruits twelve diversely creative people photographers, physicists, lawyers, songwriters, etc.from thousands of applicants to apply their talents to problems of expression, advertising-related or otherwise.
