Since we were (sort of) in the area we decided to hit up George Wein’s Folk Festival 50 in Newport, Rhode Island. It was the festival’s 50th year anniversary & we even got to speak to the man himself. The new song the Avett Brothers played for us really captures the vibe of the beautiful, sunny weekend.
