On Aug. 22, 2004, a gunman entered the home of prominent Coral Gables attorney John Sutton and his wife Susan. Susan was in bed under the covers when a gunman shot her six times; prosecutors say she was assassinated. John, shot twice in the head, somehow managed to survive and call 911.
