This song is a real treat to solo over (see the Tab for chord changes), and there are all sorts of options to be busy or mellow, loud or quiet.
As I dug in, I found that I was really inspired by what was going on in the accompanying rhythm part. Because the rhythm parts were developing nicely, they helped feed and shape the ideas in my solo. And without those nice harmonies opening up, I don't think I would have been inspired to play what I did. Another example of how critical a role the rhythm section plays in a band setting.-Larry Carltion's 335 Blues - Stormy Blues, Key of A: Insights
