Another Jump Giant you have to listen to is T-Bone Walker. With his style of playing he has influenced countless others, from Duke Robillard to Ronnie Earl, Rick Holmstrom, Dave Specter and almost every jump player still around. With his curious way of holding the guitar (almost like a Dobro, meaning horizontal) and his showmanship on stage (doing splits!) he was a joy to watch and listen to. In this solo we see a number of "his" licks turn up, mostly played out of the first blues position. The intro is a typical T-Bone Walker one that comes in many variations. Listen to his rendition of "Glamour Girl" and you'll hear what I mean.-Jump Blues - T-Bone Walker 1
