  • Greatest Time of AllTime...

The 60's were gone and we were all looking forward to better daze. Little did we know. Anyway, the song fills me with hope and home and things long gone and love long dead. It makes me feel special, sad and happy all at the same time. Luv.

  • Reminds me of my late brother, George.

I heard this on the satellite radio @ work recently & it flooded me with warm, fun times with my brother George Shull. We grew up in York, PA & he sadly passed away from a heart attack 3 years ago. I love him & miss him so. Please enjoy this song for us !

Reminds me my teenage carefree years. Oh how I wish music today was half as good as the stuff from the 1970's.

Listening to this song is like stepping into a time machine. I'm a sixth grader again at Lindbergh in St. Joseph, MO. (Pony Express) My favorite teacher of all time,Mr. Gary McKown sees I don't have a dad, so he takes me camping, fishin & hunting,to the Brown bear tavern for Foosball games and listening to greg everett (RIP 3/4/2008)KKJO AM, Teachers who do this for kids without a dad are priceless.

wolffancais you hit the nail on the head about a coming of age year in 1976, this music is like a modern day time machine and I'm a sixth grader again. I never met my dad and my sixth grade teacher (Gary McKown in St. Joseph Missouri at Linbergh Elementary School) took the boys in the class on trips hunting, fishing, camping, snack machine route..what a teacher and role model never be another like him, we would jam KKJO am St. Joseph Missouri on the radio and enjoy 1976

  • Thanks for posting. ...

Thanks for posting. Great hysterical memory from my now adult p.o.v. I was in 8th grade, Rochester NY, in love w/ this "untouchable" girl who sang this song in the lunchroom w/ friends. I started listening to it on AM radio, thinking of her. Rushed out to Woolworths & bought a vinyl album called "K-Tel presents: AM Pop Hits" that had this on it. Played it to death, loving the tune & fantasizing about dating "Suzanne". She was a nice girl, we talked, but she never knew I dreamed of marrying her.
