Muscle mass determines metabolism.
Therefore the better shape your are in, the more fat your body will burn. There is no substitute for being in shape. That includes eating the right foods and exercising.
These exercises will build your body up to burn calories. If your looking for just calorie burning exercises, you want to do aerobics.
These exercises will help you lose weight and keep it off though.

It's best to allow your muscles a day or two to recover when you use free weights.
You overtrain when you don't give your muscles enough time to repair and I do not want anyone to get injured or be in pain from any of the exercises.
If you're new to using free weights, 3 times a week is a great start. :)
Take your time, and in about one month I'm sure you're see and feel results.
These were nice and easy arm exercises. If I do these 3 times or more a week, I should have great looking arms! Thanks for the workout!
