The Spirit of the Marathon

great video. I have run 3 marathons and each of them was a truly amazing experience, both in terms of the months of training and the race itself. I would recommend it to anyone! if you can walk you can run so no excuses!

@gza2k7, I believe it is Abebe Bikila during the 1964 Olympic marathon in Tokyo, which he went on to win. Abebe is most noted for winning the 1960 Olympic marathon in Rome, during which he ran the entire race barefoot.
