Paris Hilton Gets Visitors in Jail

Hello, I'm Rebecca Field with a UPI entertainment update on this Monday, June 11, 2007.

Paris Hilton has had some visitors in jail. Yesterday, the hotel heiress reportedly had a half hour visit from her sister Nicky and Paris' ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos. Nicky says she's "being strong." Hilton was sent back to jail on Friday after spending a day on house arrest for unspecified medical reasons. She's now reportedly in a locked down medical ward where she's getting treatment. She has less than 3 weeks to go in her sentence for violating probation in a reckless driving case.

The musical "Spring Awakening" lead the way with the most wins from last night's Tony Awards. The show took 8 awards including Best Musical and Best Director win for Michael Mayer. "The Coast of Utopia" grabbed 7 honors including Best Play. Other big winners include Christine Ebersole who took best actress in a musical for "Grey Gardens" and David Hyde Pierce who won best actor in a musical for "Curtains." Julie White took best actress in a play for "The Little Dog Laughed" and Frank Langella won best actor in a play for "Frost/Nixon."

"Ocean's Thirteen" was a huge hit at U.S. box offices over the weekend. It debuted at number one, bringing in 37 million dollars in ticket sales. It beat out some of the other summer blockbusters..."Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" slipped to number two and "Knocked up" followed closely behind at number 3. That's all according to Box Office Mojo.

"Ugly Betty" actress Ana Ortiz has reportedly tied the knot. People magazine reports she married musician Noah Lebenzon on Saturday. They reportedly wed at an upscale hotel in Puerto Rico. Her co-star from the hit show America Ferrera was among the guests. Ortiz and Lebenzon met through friends in 2004 and got engaged last summer.

Some big stars headed to Disneyland over the weekend to preview the newest addition to the park. Celebrities were among the first to check out the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage ride at the southern California park. Actress Brooke Shields brought her two kids. Former "Friends" cast members Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow showed up as well. NBA star Kobe Bryant brought his family and actress Denise Richards spent the day there with her daughter.
