They got it wrong. Konkordski is the worlds first supersonic airliner. Concord is the worlds first airliner that went into service.

Boeing 727 trijet was also fine. DC-10 did have problems in the beginning (like the cargo door lock), but it later became one of the safest jets.

Every plane incident is reported all over the news. Yet, every day, dozens of car accidents happen and no one knows about them. This is why people fear getting killed in airplane crashes, but in reality, a bus or car crash is more likely going to kill you than a plane.

You also risk your life when you hop on a bus, train, car or even cross the road. You are more likely to die in a car than on a plane.

The DC-10 should have been retired before the Concorde! The only reliable trijet was the L-1011

yer but it only ended up carring passengers a couple of times because the the noise from the engines was to loud in the cabin, the remainder of its flying time was used for transporting mail from one side of russia to the other. Hardly a supersonic airliner!

Also, there's an error at 09:45... Concorde was not the world's first supersonic airliner, TU144 (AKA "Concordski") was.

The plane was overweight, in a tailwind, missing an autoalignment spacer, and the flight engineer shut down an engine without the captain's permission--- take out any number of these aspects, and the aircraft might have been able to be flown out of the tireburst situation; or avoided it altogether

They did change the tire as part of Concorde's return to flight. The Goodyear tires which had a tendency to fragment, were replaced with Michilen tires which were designed not to fragment. Runway checks for every flight are impossible given the number of takeoffs every day. Runways are inspected on a daily basis for FOD (Foreign Objects Damage). However, this particular piece of metal fell off between the regular inspection cycles.
