Poi Pet is name of Cambodian town for border crossing with Thailand. This video was shot on Thai side of border. On surface children look OK, but its a sad story. Supposedly they are rented from orphanages and put out on the streets to beg from tourist and rich Thais. You will notice in video a small girl is carrying a baby, this is a common ploy used at border. The baby in that shot was sick, I could hear the baby sniffling.     This is a common situation on the boarder town of Cambodia. I lived in Thailand for several years and sometimes went to see my monk friends in Siem Reap. Many of these kids beg and 80% are being exploited by their own parents! That's survival Cambodia.
