no, i cant get any power from it in powder form, the fire depressants stop it from burning quick enough

Also try making a saturated solution of chlorate and suspend small seed crystals from a length of cotton into the solution u should grow large relatively pure chlorate crystals.Some more tips:1)wear protective gloves this really is a dangerous chemical, 2)Learn the Chemistry, it will enhance your enjoyment of pyrotechnics alot.3)Avoid ALL Pyro Forums the websites are cool but the forums are almost universally run by asshole controlfreak moderators who enjoy abusing newcomers.

Another tip is to use sodium chlorate from Wilkos (their own brand) This is because the Wilcos brand often has large crystals in it.
These crystals are pure sodium chlorate and do not contain any of the fire suppressant which is a mandatory addition to all Sodium chlorate preparations.

nice i was looking for a r candy variant but i like this lo tek option i have dead fast too lol got it from wicks good stuff as it has a fire depressant ion it and makes the sodium chlorate much safer to handle

i've messed around with weedkiller and suger loads of times without any real succses i think the weedkiller here has fire retardent in it i'm in the uk would love to get some without the retardent.
