He is right. Many of the weapons in the ban are semi-automatic pistols and rifles. (For the people who don't know, semi-automatic means ONE SHOT per trigger squeeze) Obama is technically violating the constitution by putting a permanent ban, but I guess he is using the Elastic Clause to his advantage. I think every american has the right to own ANY gun, but I think a special licensing process should be involved. Being a gun owner, that is the most leneant I will be with gun-control.

who is commiting the crimes with guns? a churchie wanting to convert you? or a violent gang member that by law shouldnt have a gun? where did he get a gun? did gun controll laws stop him from getting a gun? how is more gun controll going to stop someone who doesnt abide by the laws that are in place? it wont. it will only make it harder or imposable for law abiding people like myself to buy a gun. i like to target practice and protect my fam. why do you want to take that away?

I'm not big on guns personally but people should be allowed to have them. Least that's this mans opinion.
