Several months back, I posted a cover of Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria. I was pretty proud of it at the time, but as many pointed out, it was completely lacking pinch harmonics (which I'd never even heard of at the time). So as soon as somebody commented on this, I rushed to learn them, and just now got around to remaking this video. I appreciate all the constructive criticism, and hope to hear more in the future. Thanks!

This was recorded using a Line 6 Pocket Pod, something I'd recommend for EVERY guitarist. Especially ones who likes to dabble with recording like I do. Thank you for watching! Please rate and comment!

P.S.- Do you think I should delete the old video? I've kept it up thus far mainly to remind myself of my blunder, but what do you think I should do? Thanks.

  • Well, I didn't know ...

Well, I didn't know of them as anything more than "cool squealing sounds that good guitarists could make when they played." I didn't know that they actually had a name, much less that there was a specific technique for doing them, but once I learned of them, they were easy to pick up in no more than an hour or two of sitting and perfecting them. And if you think it was stupid to buy a double-neck guitar without knowing about PH's, well you're right. I did feel pretty stupid. Live and learn.
