they stopped sellin altos here. i got the gl 16 valve. its S**t funny as tho. awesome acceleration ud be suprized for a 1L! lol and wot u on about? its a bit scary buh i cruz at 80mph for hours.

i hav 1 an da speed depend on the driver mines is 800cc but well still fast i mean its a tiny engine

Yes, it is really an Alto. It was my rental car in Aruba. I have driven 3 of them.. the manual is a lot more fun and a somewhat quicker. I don't know what to say, it is a really cheap and underpowered car but for somewhere like Aruba it is just fine.

Is this really the alto?????? is it the 800cc 12 valves, i'm going to buy the 2008 alto lx and i have read alot of road tests telling that the car gets from 0 to 100 km/h in 20.38 sec.... soooo please tell me what engine is that car the old 1000cc or the 800cc or 1100cc?????? and i heared that the engine makes some noise and vibrations in the shifter when ideal is that right???? tell me if the car is good or i can go to a used daihatsu charade

3 speed automatic....

The ride is terrible and I would never want to drive it on a real highway. Speeds over 100 kh/h are not for this car. Yes, it can do it but it just doesn't feel like it enjoys it and there isn't too much power on reserve for passing and what not.
