ya. they still blow memphis audio away in every aspect, cost, reliability, repair-ability, sound quality (if PROPERLY set up), structural quality. the same goes for the competition models, only to about the 11th power. idk. its all a matter of whether or not you know how to set up a system too. and if you dont know how, you can blow an amazing speaker easily. or make an amazing speaker sound horrible. take ur pick

How about against memphis?

hey, its not like ive been metered or anything. people have told me as a guesstimate that thats about where i should be hitting, in reference to metered at the headrest/dash. actually a guy i know at a kicker shop told me about 130 too.
and then he proceded to tell me, that my big amp should be put in, because now its barely moving, which i totaly agree with.
i guess at my first comp ill see just what it hits.

mrfranchize02 is probably right, i dont doubt you, but i think your mistaken... not to mention, 129dB in the passengers dash, is different from a 130dB in a trunk, or in a port of a sub.

Cerwin Vega freakin rocks ass. blows a JBL, Sony, Infinity or anything else out of the water when it comes to dead clean and clear pure bass. my brother has a single 12" vmax pushed by a pioneer 4ch 760w bridged amp 2ohms and just that is enuff to pop the side pop outs in his gmc extended cab sonoma. show me another brand that gives you more performance for the buck with such low rms usage

dude, 129dB?? im hitting at least 130 right now with 1 sub and i breath just fine. 129 is NOTHING. this is closer to about 160dB.

I've sat in a 129.0 and couldn't breath. I couldn't imagine how that feels

if u notice the hatch is open to though and alot of loud systems quiet down soon as they lose their backpressure. so its gotta be pretty loud

well man you r pushing alot of power and cerwin vega is awesome but Digital Designs makes one subwoofer that set a db reading of 180.5 for the world record of bass from one sub. now thats power trust me check them out.

maybe the car is, but that is not the reason for window-flexing... this portion of power used with that woofers will do that with any other car having no bulletproof glass and even that will flex ;)

their nice but the only reason that the whole car was shaking and the wind sheild was about to blow out was b/c the car was a sack of S**t !

what do you mean? cerwin's have always hit hard. I wish more people knew about them. They are way better than bose, sony, and JBL.
